frequently asked questions

How do I make an appointment?

Please read the booking info to find all the information you need. I prefer to book only one appointment per day. This allows me to give you full attention and the best focus to work on your tattoo.

What does the process look like after I made a request?

When I receive your request, I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your idea and further details with you. After we confirm on a date, I will send you the details for the deposit. Once I received the deposit your appointment is confirmed (please also see “Do I have to make a deposit for an appointment”). On the day of our appointment we will take some time to discuss the design, and make adjustments where needed. The design (or sometimes a mock-up) is only used as a guideline as my aim is not to make an exact copy, but something that suits to your body. Please keep in mind that my work is very intuitive and a lot of details etc only emerge when I start tattooing. Don’t plan anything straight after our appointment/ if you are travelling please allow some time before you travel back.

Do I have to make a deposit for an appointment?

It is pretty standard to make a deposit if you want to book an appointment. You want some of my time in my agenda, so you prepay a part of your tattoo. That’s how it works. So an appointment is only confirmed after I received a deposit, and I will not start designing prior to that. I will send you the details for the deposit via e-mail. Please make sure that you transfer the deposit within a week. Depending on the size of the work, a deposit can vary from 75-150 euros. The deposit is a part of the total price of the tattoo and are a necessary safety for me and the studio. Deposits are nun-refundable. The deposit covers the minimum charges of keeping that day for you; as it’s not always possible to fill up that day again, my day of work is lost.

**Recently i’ve experienced quite some issues with people going through the whole booking process with me, to then disappear at the last moment when the deposit needs to be made. If you are in doubt about something please know that you can always speak to me about it. Not notifying me will result in me not tattooing you in the future, ever. I don’t like to do it this way, but unfortunately I see no other way.**

How much will my tattoo cost?

Many factors have an influence on the price of your tattoo, but I will always give you an estimate beforehand. I work with an hourly rate including VAT tax. For larger work I charge a flat day rate. This means I have all day available for you and we can continue for as long as needed. Please make sure to bring cash to the studio, as you cannot pay by card. If you are uncomfortable carrying around a lot of money, there are cash machines close by.

Will you be travelling to …( Insert city) anytime soon?

All travel plans will be announced on my Instagram page and my website. Nothing there? Then I don’t have any travel plans 🙂 I am more then happy to welcome you in the beautiful studio of Coco Schwarz in Hamburg, as I just recently moved here.

Do you do small tattoos?

Rarely, but if it’s a cool idea, hey, I might be up for it! I do have smaller designs (approx 10cm) in my flashbook available for tattooing.

Do you work with color?

No.

Are thee still plants available in the Anno 1917 project?

This project was closed at the end of 2018. There are no more designs available, but I am looking into starting a new project soon.
