frequently asked questions

How do I make an appointment?

It starts by sending me your request. Please read the booking info to find all the information you need. I prefer to book only one appointment per day. This enables me to give you full attention and the best focus to work on your tattoo.

What does the process look like after I made a request?

I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your idea and further details with you. I will discuss the design with you on the day of our appointment. The design (or sometimes I make a mock-up) is only used as a guideline as my aim is not to make an exact copy, but something that suits your body so sometimes there needs to be some adjustments to make the design fit well on your body. Please keep in mind that my work is very intuitive and a lot of details etc only emerge when I start tattooing. Don’t plan anything straight after our appointment/ if you are travelling please allow some time before you travel back.

Do I have to make a deposit for an appointment?

Yes, your appointment is only confirmed once I have received a deposit. I will send you the details for the deposit via e-mail. Please make sure that you transfer the deposit within a week. Depending on the size of the work, a deposit can vary from 75-150 euros. The deposit is a part of the total price of the tattoo and are a necessary safety for me and the studio. Deposits are nun-refundable. The deposit covers the minimum charges of keeping the day for you; as it’s not always possible to fill up that day again, my day of work is lost.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Many factors can influence the price of your tattoo, but I will always give you an estimate beforehand. For larger work I charge a flat day rate. This means I have all day available for you and we can continue for as long as needed. Please make sure to bring cash to the studio, as you cannot pay by card. If you are uncomfortable carrying around a lot of money, there are cash machines close by.

Will you be travelling to …( Insert city) anytime soon?

All travel plans will be announced on my Instagram page and my website. Nothing there? Then I don’t have any travel plans 🙂 I am more then happy to welcome you in the beautiful studio of Coco Schwarz in Hamburg, as I just recently moved here.

Do you do small tattoos?

Lately my work is moving towards large scale pieces, that work in line with the natural lines of the body. I love to work with the body as if it is a puzzle; to find the right elements and placement etc. So therefore I very rarely do small tattoos.

Do you do work with color?

Are thee still plants available in the Anno 1917 project?
